Barrio Viejo - Tucson

Image
Barrio Viejo means "old neighborhood" in Spanish.  Barrio Viejo located in Tucson Arizona is rich in Arizona history and culture of the Southwest. The 18th and 19th century adobe block homes provide an ideal opportunity for street photography emphasizing architecture, traditional Spanish color pallet, art and desert vegetation.  All photography presented here is 'as-photographed' using a FujiFilm XT1 mirrorless digital camera with a 16MP CMOS XTrans II senor and FujiFilm's in-camera film emulations.  I primarily took photographs with the camera fully manual mode including focus.  The lens was Fuji's kit 18-55mm.  Fuji film emulations used were Fuji's VELVIA, B&W and high contrast B&W.  I also changed aspect ratio for each photograph to suit the composition I wanted to achieve for the photograph.  Below: El Minuto Cafe Photo below: Buttressed adobe building next to the El Tiradito Wishing Shrine   Below: Photographed using Fujifilm's B&W
